It is possible to use a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) to create a blog posting. I’m typing this one using a portable keyboard and my Zodiac pda. I’ll then copy and paste the text into the Web browser and save the post. I’m curious to see what happens because the pda’s browser does not work well with javascript and I’m not sure if this Wordpress blog uses javascript for composing posts.
If this works, I will be able to post from anywhere there’s a wi-fi connection.
This is a test to see if we can enclose an mp3 file so that we can do podcasts.
Phanfare Schools Program – Phanfare Support
Phanfare is a new web service for storing and organizing photos and videos. What surprised me was they offer free accounts for schools and non-profits. It looks like you can have unlimited storage of full size digital files. This could be used as a content management system. It has a great search capability.
SurveyMonkey.com – Powerful tool for creating web surveys. Online survey software made easy!
The free service lets you create surveys with up to 10 questions and 100 responses per month. There is no advertising. Results are private.
All I can say is Wow! You’ve got to check out Odeo.com. It’s a free web service designed for recording and sharing audio on the Web. You can send email invitations to friends and family or you can copy and paste code into your blog to embed a player like you see below. They even give you the direct link to the mp3 file so you can podcast it or link directly to it.
